Miranda Johnson is a tour guide for Chicago Prohibition Tours. Born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, she moved to Chicago in 2019 after graduating from the Savannah College of Art and Design. With a degree in animation, she puts it to good use by leading a history tour. Ever since high school, her biggest passion has been the history of Prohibition and the women who lived through it. When she isn’t working, you can find her haunting a museum or exploring every corner of the Windy City.

As a tour guide, she has been described as “narrating with great grace, wittiness, fun and a superb knowledge of all the history of prohibition in America.”

Tour Guide

Elizabeth Dow is a tour guide for Chicago Prohibition Tours. A Floridian, she moved to Chicago in 2014 to complete her studies at Columbia College Chicago. Upon graduating in 2016, she decided to trade the hot humid summers for the chilly windy winters.  Her main reason for staying was to pursue comedy and take in ALL the history Chicago has to offer. You can catch her on her off nights, or after tours performing sketch and improv around the city.  When she’s not guiding or entertaining, she’s chilling at home with her dog and a glass of whiskey.
